Summary:

The finnsih goverment is planning to establih a new nationalpark. The Norwegian inhabitans oppose the national park, since it will ban snomobiles.

In Kilpisjärvi there are over 120 Norwegian villas and thousand of Norwegian  trailer homes.  The main reason for the establisment of the Norwegain village in Kilpisjarvi was to find a place where snomobiles can be used freely.

If the National park is established, the Norwegians wowe to Sweden with their snomobiles, and Finland will loose the income from the snomobile tourists.

In Norway snomobiles are practically banned.
